Trade Advisory participates at the Tshwane Economic Development Agency International Trade and Policy Thought Leadership Seminar – 13 March 2017


On 13 March 2017 Martin Cameron, Francois Fouche and Peter Draper (Tutwa Consulting) presented some interesting and thought provoking insights regarding the secrets of economic growth and why exports matter, recent changes in global geopolitics and creating structure from chaos identifying realistic global export opportunities with a focus on aerospace and automotive examples.The event was hosted by the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA) as part of their International Trade and Policy Thought Leadership Seminar series.Healthy debate and engagement from the attendees and presenters were experienced and further topics such as South Africa in the context of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) as well as the “entrepreneurial” role of the state was discussed.

Trade Advisory participate at WTO-Chair (NWU) and SAIIA workshop – 22 September 2016

On Thursday 22 September,
the NWU’s TRADE research focus area held a workshop in collaboration with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) and under the auspices of the WTO Chairs Programme on the topic: ‘Navigating global economic headwinds and tailwinds: New directions for industrial and trade policy‘.
